1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, submitting a listing, posting a review, registering an event, creating a post, or otherwise using any part of the Nangainallur Directory platform (“Platform”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Platform Use
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Platform. Users under 18 should use it only with parental consent.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with others.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when registering, submitting listings, or writing reviews.
- You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- You may not post content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that violates any person's rights.
- You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or interact with the Platform without written permission.
- You may not create fake listings, fake reviews, or manipulate the rating system in any way.
- You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
3. Business Listings
- Listings are accepted only for businesses and places physically located within pincode 600061.
- All submitted listings go through a moderation review before being published. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion.
- By submitting a listing, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to represent the business described.
- Business owners who claim their listing are responsible for keeping business details up to date (hours, contact, address).
- We may remove listings that are found to be fraudulent, inactive, permanently closed, or in violation of these terms.
- Photos uploaded must be original and relevant to the business. Copyrighted or inappropriate images will be removed.
4. Reviews & Ratings
- Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experience with the place or service being reviewed.
- You may not review your own business or incentivise others to leave reviews in exchange for compensation.
- Reviews that contain personal attacks, hate speech, irrelevant content, or false claims will be removed.
- We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any review that violates these terms or is disputed with credible evidence.
- Business owners may report reviews they believe are fake or defamatory. We will investigate and act at our discretion.
5. Event Listings
- Events must take place within or originate from within pincode 600061.
- Event submissions are reviewed before publishing. Misleading, promotional-only, or commercial spam events will not be approved.
- Organiser contact information provided must be accurate and reachable.
- For paid events, ticket details must be accurate. Misrepresentation of ticket pricing is a violation of these terms.
- You are solely responsible for delivering the event as described. Nangainallur Directory is not a ticketing or event management platform and assumes no liability for event cancellations, refunds to attendees, or disputes between organisers and attendees.
6. Posts & Classifieds
- Posts are community classifieds for jobs, rentals, items for sale, deals, and offers relevant to the Nangainallur area (pincode 600061).
- Phone verification is required to create a post. This helps prevent spam and ensures genuine contributions.
- All posts are reviewed before publishing. Misleading, inappropriate, or spam posts will not be approved.
- The number of posts you can create per month depends on your listing plan (Free: 2, Standard: 5, Premium: unlimited).
- Contact details provided in posts must be accurate and reachable. You are solely responsible for transactions arising from your posts.
- Nangainallur Directory is not a marketplace or escrow service. We assume no liability for disputes between buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, or employers and job seekers.
- Photos uploaded must be original and relevant to the post. Copyrighted or inappropriate images will be removed.
7. Paid Listing Plans
- Paid listing plans (Standard, Premium) provide additional visibility, features, and photo limits on a monthly or annual subscription basis.
- Prices are listed inclusive of 18% GST (9% CGST + 9% SGST). You will receive a tax invoice for each payment.
- Plans are billed monthly or annually. Failure to renew a paid plan will result in the listing automatically reverting to the Free tier.
- Payments on the website and Android app are processed via Razorpay. On iOS, payments are handled through Apple In-App Purchase.
- Plan pricing and feature sets may be updated with reasonable prior notice on the Platform.
- Refunds for paid plans are governed by our Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Nangainallur Directory name, logo, design, and software code are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our platform assets without written permission.
Content you submit (listing descriptions, photos, reviews, posts) remains owned by you. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Business information on the Platform is user-submitted — we do not independently verify all details and cannot guarantee accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Nangainallur Directory shall not be liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of revenue or profits; disputes between users and businesses listed on the Platform; or any event outside our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account or listing that violates these terms, without notice. Users may delete their accounts at any time from their profile settings. Closure does not entitle you to refunds for any active paid plan periods.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
